This picture is a unique blending of the traditions of Eastern Orthodox icon painting and Mediaeval English wall
painting. The painting was lovingly done by the artist Valerie Button from an idea conceived by Father Adam Gaunt. It
is the product of a fruitful cooperation between Anglicans and Roman Catholics. It is a sign of growing dialogue and
a challenge to growth in unity.
A programme of joint study and devotion will appear on this site soon.
